Debbie, Debbie, Debbie…..why such a downer Debbie? J.T., you crazy fool. Lot’s to talk about last night’s episode of Survivor, so, let’s get to it!
A delicious reward of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cookies and ice cold milk was at stake for the 3 tribes. Poor Mana tribe was the last to finish and didn’t receive any of the yummy goodness. Afterwards, Debbie had to act like a 12 year old kid and direct her anger at Brad for being a dictator. From what the audiences know is that Debbie volunteered the balancing portion of the challenge saying “I have a great sense of balance.” Knowing that she said that statement, Debbie just couldn’t own up to her actions. Instead, she just couldn’t stand that she got her a** handled, lost, and threw a meltdown. The meltdown was pretty much the entertaining part of the episode. At the immunity challenge, Mana did win but it was hilarious seeing Debbie gloat at Brad saying “Did you see that? I was the first one across!” Debbie really annoys me. She thinks she’s so great, knows every hair on your head, and is such a great woman. She’s just crazy. Then again, she’s a perfect person to take to the end.
Poor J.T. is the latest to have his torch snuffed. But, it was predictable considering last week’s tribal council and J.T. knew that everyone was gunning after him. The stupidity in J.T.’s gameplay was that he had an idol in his back pocket! In a whole, this was not J.T.’s best survivor play in a season called game changers. A reminder that J.T. won the million in his first time playing the game at Tocantins. However, strategy was never his strong suit. The thing about J.T is that his likability was what won him the game the first time, and his likability was his downfall. Giving the idol to Russell in Heroes vs. Villains was his downfall, now telling Brad Culpepper about voting Sierra out was his downfall again. He trusts too many people, and you can’t do that in Survivor! What angers me the most is that he knew that either he or Michaela was going home. So, why would you leave your damn idol at camp???!!! Again, he trusted his tribe way too much. Speaking of Michaela, she’s really keeping her emotions in check this season. Everyone knows by now that Michaela is a threat, so it’s important for her to keep doing that and play her game.
Right now, Sandra is showing audiences that she is Queen and how she is the 2-time Survivor winner. She took J.T.’s precious sugar, thus, having J.T. directing his anger towards Michaela thinking she did it. Remember, that J.T. was gunning after Sandra for a long time but when his sugar was gone, Michaela was all that he thought about. Now that J.T is gone, you can best bet that Michaela will now be loyal to Sandra. The Queen is playing a heck of a game right now and is on her way for a 3-peat.
Next week, it looks like there will be another (probably final) tribe shake up. AND! A former castaway is coming back?? According to Jeff Probst, this is an idea the producers have had for years and it’s the right situation. I wonder if it’ll be J.T. considering he was a voted with an idol, he might come back to give to a player. Who knows? If it were up to me, I would love to see all castaways that were voted off to come back as a tribe. That twist was used back on Pearl Islands. Considering this is game changers, that would be a great twist and it would be fun to see the current castaways deal with that. Exile Island is set to appear again. Last time Exile Island was used in season 29, San Juan del Sur. That should be fun to have that come back. I’m really loving this season!
